How to complete the Living Lamp Office

The Adoration Network

The goal we want to pursue over time is to create as extensive a network of perpetual adoration points as possible. That is, to find parishes where Adoration continues continuously (at least during daylight hours). Considering the limited resources available and the current difficulty of finding churches and parish priests available, we will start the project through the creation of a network of Adoration “relocated” to the territory.

The network will be formed, as we already do for the Hour of Watch, and as already happens, through the reservation of hours of Adoration, of the different people located in the territory. There will therefore be no perpetual points of worship in the beginning, but we initially aim to form a perpetual adoration network.

How to participate:

  1. Book your adoration time on the calendar as you already do for Watch time:
    Prenota ora!

  2. Find a church where you can carry out the hour of Adoration, which can be done in front of the Most Holy exposed or in front of the Tabernacle.

Only exceptionally, in the closing moments due to the contingent condition, it is possible to carry out adoration at home, ideally placing yourself in the direction of the nearest Tabernacle or tuning into the net with some perpetual adoration channel.

How to Worship

“Love, only love must suggest the way of holding back worthily before Jesus the Sacrament: here is the case to repeat with St. Augustine: Ama et fac quod vis.”

“But to revive this flame of love it is necessary to look at Jesus alive and true, Jesus who listens to us, who wishes to communicate to us his thoughts, his sorrows, his graces, his paradise. From this simple look of faith depends all the ease and happiness of worship. The Holy Curé of Ars remembered a good peasant, who, when questioned before the Holy Sacrament, naively replied: “I look at Him, and He looks at me”. Wonderful expression! adoration is a gaze with which the soul annihilates before his God and in him totally is lost.”

However, according to the teaching of the Saints, it will be good to follow some method, according to one’s devotion and also according to the particular needs of the soul. The essential acts of the visit are the 4 purposes of the Mass:

1. Adoration

2. Thanksgiving,

3. Repair in particular for outrages at the SS. Eucharist;

4. Question

In the act of questioning, it will then be necessary to remember the prayer for exsurge’s intentions to which you can then add the particular requests.

Below we attach a guide to Eucharistic devotion, to the visit to the Holy Sacrament and to the recitation of the Holy Rosary during the visit:
